Giant Tuna is basically any Bluefin Tuna in excess of 300 pounds.   Giant Bluefin Tuna are highly sought after and can be found in the mid and northern Atlantic, the Meditaraian and theWestern Pacific Ocean around Japan.

These fish are highly sought after and prized for the quality of their meat.   The most prized cut of a Giant Bluefin Tuna is it’s underside called the Torro.   Torro is a heavenly marbled section of the Tuna that has an amazing texture and flavor.   One piece of Torro sushi can cost you as much as $80.
