Porgies

Porgies are plentiful and are a lot of fun to catch.   A Porgie fishing trip is perfect for families and novice fishermen.  Porgies are also known as Bream and live on the bottom of shallow inshore waters.

Many experienced fisherman consider Porgies to be one of the best tasting fish in the mid Atlantic area.   They are excellent any way that you prepare them; grilled, baked, fried, etc.
